USHL teams filled their 45-player initial protected list during Phase Two of the 2015 USHL Draft Tuesday, with North Dakota commit Christian Evers selected first overall by the Lincoln Stars, from the U.S. National Team Development Program.

Evers was the first of 80 players who have committed to 41 Division I programs - more than two-thirds of all teams nationwide - to be selected on Wednesday. Twenty-six other commits were either selected in Phase One of the draft or tendered by a team prior to the draft.

A total of 303 players were selected in Tuesday's Phase Two, all born between 1995 and '99. Phase One consisted solely of '99 birth year players.

Maine led all teams with seven committed recruits selected in the draft. St. Lawrence had five commits taken, while New Hampshire and Vermont had four each.

Including Evers, 11 of 16 first-round draft picks in Phase Two have already committed to schools. Evers was followed at the top of the draft by Brett Gruber (Green Bay/Arizona State), Kenneth Hausinger (Des Moines/Sacred Heart) and Blake Lizotte (Fargo/St. Cloud State).
